Job Description
- Interacting extensively with users and project sponsors regarding any automation needs in his/her area of specialization.
- Critically understanding clients' existing operations and systems.
- Transform automation needs to conceptual and technical requirements.
- Screen, analyze and Evaluate relevant off-shelf standard products and gives recommendation for their implementation in the company’s live environment.
- Involve with the programmers and testers during the software development life-cycle (SDLC) and ensure that the SDLC is properly progressing to meet the committed delivery dates.
- Planning and designing test plans of the proposed software solution
- Assure test cases compliance before conducting software testing
- Keeping his knowledge up to date with technical sector developments in the industry
- Assure proper handover of the project service from vendors or development teams
- Act as the technical team reference for any issue related to business logic, Business rules, Data definition and business processes.
- Deliver end user and TOT training on the applications lies in his/her area of specialization
- Maintain frequent refreshment sessions for end users on the how ideally to use Applications for maximum utilization and benefits in operational and decision making activities.
- Prepare Training material for the released applications and services
- Maintain applications and services Documented knowledge base
- Responsible for feeding or/and importing the set-up Data required for having a working system.
- Implement released enhancement and modules and ensure smooth transition toward the go-live and operational phase.
- Deliver remote and hands-on support for end users on the applications lies in his/her area of specialization.
- Interface with SW vendors for any aroused technical and contractual enquirers.
Job Requirements
- At least bachelor degree.
- 4-6 years as oracle developer.
- Experience in financial is preferred.
- Strong Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL Packages/Functions/Procedures programming and debugging.
- Experience with Oracle (Forms, Reports) (6i , 10g).
- Experience with Oracle development tools (TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer…).
- Knowledge of Software Development Life-cycle.
- Experience with Jasper reporting is plus.
- Experience with APEX is plus.
- Strong written and oral communications skills (English and Arabic)
