About the Position

Role Purpose

Responsible for the range development and execution of ranges in a multichannel international company

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing a supply base that has local and international suppliers worldwide – managing the suppliers to ensure they understand our requirements and deliver to them
  • Creating a sourcing map specific to the product category, reviewing existing sources and finding new – ensuring we provide our customers with the best product available from the right sources
  • Monthly promotional and seasonal events across all our countries
  • Maintaining competitive pricing across all our regions and still delivering on our budget numbers
  • Range and space management – introduction, trade and exit of ranges
  • Ensuring we have the right ranges in the right store – strong ranging and selecting capability
  • Sourcing product specific to different countries demographics

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Tertiary education preferred however experience is more critical

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • +5 years buying experience in the retail industry
  • Toys experience would be an asset.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Advanced Excel
  • SAP exposure
