Job Description
- Responsible for developing annual supply chain plan, including mix of outsourcing, external and internal capacities for manufacturing, warehousing and delivery in consonance with the annual business plan.
- Based on Sales Forecasts, plan total inventories, production, finished goods, warehousing and transit inventories to ensure optimization and efficiencies in working capital deployed.
- Be responsible for building sophistication in the demand forecasting process
- Ensure that the Inventory Plan adequately reflects SKU level production and corresponding SKU-wise Service Level in the market.
- Ensure just-in-time availability of raw and packing material to service the production plan through timely call-ups of raw materials, packing materials as determined and negotiated by Central Purchase.
- Ensure optimal route planning and the productivity of the trucks and manpower
- Determine the requirement of warehouse and delivery van capacities. Ensure optimal supply of these capacities.
- Building 12 months agriculture plan to meet the factory requirement
- Developing long term relation with agriculture companies/ small farmers and farmers unions
- Deciding the seeds varieties for different farms/ seasons that is suitable for food processing
- Developing a monitoring system to ensure implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP)
Job Requirements
- Ideally 12+ years of relevant functional experience in FMCG
- Agriculture experience is a must, Tomato experience is nice to have.
- Master’s degree in Supply chain / Operations Management is a plus.
- Experience in Tomato or Culinary industry is a must.
