Job Description
- Make optimum utilization of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to assist in preparing the feasibility studies and ensure that the costs incurred are justified
- Evaluate various improvements that need to be done and create value analysis and to look out for ways to reduce the costs in the engineering and manufacturing applications
- Give directions to help in preparing the layouts and detailed drawings that will eventually assist in improving the manufacturing processes
- Develop methods that would help in reducing the cost without compromising on the quality standards to ensure increased efficiency and quality and make recommendations
- Achieve cost effective designs and to carry out research, design, and development work of the manufacturing process that would include assembly methods, production flow and production equipment
- Monitoring the production plan vs. the actual situation.
- Follow up and control daily and monthly work orders.
- Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
- Organize plant start up and shut down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time
- Follow product specifications and quality control measures implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and guarantees desired results Implement SOP, and production procedures to maintain production smooth flow and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing procedures to enhance production efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- A demonstrated working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma in the manufacturing field with good project management skills
- Good knowledge of manufacturing applications, PC literacy in terms of MS Office.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.
- Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems.
