Job Description

We Are Looking For An Experienced Supply Chain Manager Who Has Extensive Experience In The Field Of Medical Devices.

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
  • Determine key supply chain
  • KPIs Suggest solutions for process improvements
  • Train and evaluate others
  • Responsible for the day to day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of carriage.
  • Manage the movement of products/materials in/out of the country in accordance with organization policy and procedure.
  • Manage the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
  • Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export law and procedure; tariffs and duties; licence and restrictions.
  • Plan and implement import/export strategy and activities consistent with over all aims and requirements of the organization.
  • Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, result and recommendation relating to import/export activities.
  • Manager/liaise with stock control, warehousing and distribution activities influenced by or reliant upon import/export activities.
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
  • Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers.
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
  • Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
  • Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
    Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in same position.
  • Fluency spoken English
  • Inventory Management, Production Scheduling, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution.
  • Proven analytical experience with measurable results expected.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong Oracle and systems skills are desirable.
  • Statistical forecasting experience recommended is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
