Job Description
- Linux/UNIX system administrator to perform daily support tasks as part of the Hosting Services Platform Operations Event Management team in Raqmi
- Duties include 24x7 event/incident support; L2/3 event troubleshooting, triage and escalation;
- Execution of scheduled activities and ad-hoc work requests; and event and incident trend analysis and reporting.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Red Hat Linux, 5+ year of UNIX experience
- Experience managing servers in as enterprise environment consisting of 1,000 or more servers
- Strong experience in System Administration, Hardware and OS troubleshooting, Configuration, Backup, Security, Disaster Recovery, and Performance Monitoring.
- Strong experience with Redhat Cluster as well as Veritas Cluster Server Support.
- Experience Using SAN/NAS storage, LVM or VXVM
- Complete shell scripting sh, csh, ksh and bash.
- Ability to work weekends is a must.
