Job Description
- Support Mondia Media DCB (Direct Carrier Billing) projects delivery covering International payment service providers, billing aggregators and digital merchant’s technical integrations and Mobile App stores.
- Responsible for the integration of merchants and mobile operators with Mondia’s internal platforms and
- services.
- Supporting the operations and maintenance of VAS/Digital Systems/apps using latest technologies/tools with requirement of working on a shifts basis outside of normal working hours when needed.
- Responsible for resolution of issues raised for the VAS/Digital platforms by analyzing logs, traces, using different tools e.g. ELK, Wireshark and any other tools e.g. NewRelic.
- Documentation and knowledge sharing of VAS, billing platforms &related systems, APIs for both internal and external teams for integrations/operations purposes.
- Set and actively monitor platform KPIs to ensure optimum performance and efficient service delivery.
- Supporting different internal/external teams with service configurations/definitions, troubleshooting, automated testing and migrations as and when required (which may require perform/participating in outage activities other than normal office hours, holidays).
- Perform integration, migration with acceptance and clearance tests, produce relevant test documentation and reports for operator and merchant integrations.
- Ensure that quality of service is maintained after app/service/platform launch/upgrade.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering / Computer Science.
- Previous work experience in telecommunication & digital media industry.
- Operational Experience and ticketing support for telecom VAS, payments, mobile content.
- Understanding of the APIs ecosystem.
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting Tools: NewRelic, ELK.
- Languages: Java, Shell Scripting, XML/XSL, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
- Knowledge of J2EE frameworks (Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, Servlets etc.) and of RESTful services, Web
- Servers/App. Servers: Apache Tomcat, JBoss.
- Database: MySQL
