Job Description
- Monitors the ongoing implementation of sales policies and procedures, and ensures clear communication of any updates to the sales team.
- Contributes in developing the annual sales plan and setting measurable and achievable targets for the sales teams based on the current and prospective clients’ requirements.
- Schedules sales visits according to the area and the set priorities, and follows up with the sales team the outcome of visits and provides the necessary directions.
- Manages the sales team and ensures each individual is meeting the sales targets, and prepares periodical sales reports highlighting actual versus targets, and calculates sales commissions.
- Works on developing and updating the customer list, directs and assists the sales team to create awareness and need for the company products, develops new business opportunities and approach potential clients.
- Works collaboratively with Product Managers, and stays abreast of the latest market trends, competitions and varying customer needs in order to set expectations and direct the sales team accordingly.
- Prepares status reports highlighting accomplished customers’ visits , sales orders, current and potential customers’ status and new business opportunities.
- Provides guidance and directions concerning negotiations of deals and payment terms, reviews the sales orders, and submits them to the direct manager for approval.
- Ensures the proper coordination with the Sales Support office to facilitate the necessary documents circulation and financial related aspects, and follows up the prompt collection of dues as per the set agreements.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc of Electrical Engineering - MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the same field & industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Deep knowledge & experience in Power & Control components, Lighting fixtures, M.V & L.V Panels.
