Job Description
- Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
- Develop and maintain transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Helping the Logistics Manager to achieve the overall logistics department budgets.
- Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation.
- Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution.
- Ensure Logistics Department complies with ISO requirements.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
- Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing opportunity for high performers, education, communication, expectation setting, and self-actualization.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Export Activities:
- Following the issuance of MOH’s Approval in accordance with the issuance of the invoice from Finance Dep.
- Following that all products at the shipment are complete.
- Following that the Transfer of money from the clients to the Finance Dep. Is OK to proceed the process of exports.
- Following the Packaging List of the shipments.
- Following the invoice and dispatch order form from the Finance Dep.
- Following the delivery of Local Shipments to Internal Distributors and the Delivery of External Shipments to Custom (Sea/Air).
- Following the time period between finishing the Sterilization Process and the shipment of products to clients.
- Following the harmony of Information transfers among Customer Support, Logistics, Sterilization & WH’s in relation with The Logistics Activities.
- Reviewing the Shipments Companies Invoices and Custom Clearance Coordinators and reviewing with Compliance & Governmental Relations Officer.
- Daily update of Exports General Report.
- Following the request and receiving the Form 13 from Shipments Company, just the Shipment left the Company WH’s.
- Following and assuring the accuracy of the Financial requests from the shipments companies & Clearance.
Import Activities:
- Following the Issuance of the Importing Approvals for Importing Shipments.
- Following and updating the General report of Importing Shipments.
- Following the issuance of Forms:
- 4 for Importing Shipments.
- Form 5.
- Value Form.
- Form 6.
- Following the Invoices of the Shipments Companies and reviewing with the Compliance & Governmental Relations Officer.
- Following the General Security Record and recording the Importing Shipment (General Security Shipments) at Civil Defense Record.
- Following the entrance of importing shipments (Internal & External).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or relevant field.
- MBA or Supply Chain Diploma or other relevant High Graduate qualification is a plus.
- Experience in a multinational business environment is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing factories is preferred.
