Job Description
Position Summary:
Under administrative supervision of the VP Engineering, this position is responsible for developing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX and JavaScript. To be considered for this position the successful candidate must have a B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent), plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience developing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX and JavaScript libraries. The role requires the ability to design and implement cleanly designed, user friendly and modern looking user interfaces. The successful candidate will work closely with the Software Engineering team as part of Agile software development projects, with responsibility for designing and developing modern, elegant and user friendly web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript libraries. The role requires a detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter, who is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Apex.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Familiar with JavaScript, HTML,CSS, REST APIs , JSON, XML.
- Good understanding of Performance tuning.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
