Job Description
- Ensure compliance with VAT for all transactions in Saudi operations;
- Ensure timely regulatory filing (Zakat and Tax), tax reconciliations and accounting;
- Ensure timely Zakat declaration and obtaining Zakat Certificate;
- Maintain proper and complete filing for all accounting documents, journals, invoices, balance confirmation, reconciliation and trial balance for external audit and regulatory purposes;
- Review, sign and post the invoices of all non-trading local Saudi vendors and service providers, and upload the signed invoices on SAP for payment purposes;
- Prepare vendor payment requests (prepayments and dues) for all non-trading local Saudi vendors and service providers;
- Reconcile the accounts of all non-trading local Saudi vendors and service providers a monthly basis and with every payment request, and acquire balance confirmation on a quarterly basis;
- Clear the accounts of all non-trading local Saudi vendors and service providers on a monthly basis (invoices vs payments and invoices vs credit notes); and
- Manage the Saudi year-end audit fieldwork and liaise between Accounting Sr. Manager and External Auditor to ensure timely closing.
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in Zakat and Taxation
- 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and IFRS
- Experience in Retail business (preferred)
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP Preferred)
- Excellent knowledge in MS office (Specially in Excel and word)
- Fluent in Arabic and Good in English
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
