Job Description
- The British Council teaching centres in Egypt are looking to recruit a senior teacher for the large, nationwide Adult, Young Learner and Training teams.
Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree
- TEFL-Q qualification (Diploma level EFL/TESOL or equivalent as recognized by the British Council
- Full mastery of English across 4 skills, equivalent to CEFR C2 (IELTS Academic 8/9 in each of 4 sections)
- Graduate plus higher level teaching diploma DELTA/ Trinity Diploma in TESOL (or equivalent) or relevant NQF level 7 in appropriate area)
- 4 years Adult teaching experience, post certificate level teaching qualification
- Experience of line managing/ coordinating teaching teams
- Proven ability to contribute to design and development of Adult curriculum, syllabus, courses and pedagogic activities
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of teaching and/or examining IELTS candidates
- Teacher Training Experience
- Master’s degree in relevant area
