Verify the monthly damage, shrinkage and left over expense / suspense accounts, and give the required financial approval for inventory write off according to the governing authority metrics;
Recommend the monthly updates of inventory provisions;
Reconcile inventory balances with 3PL service providers on a monthly basis and ensure the full match of both systems (ABYAT and the 3PL service provider);
Manage the wall to wall count for all storage locations;
Ensure the cyclical count plan for all storage locations are prepared and performed on time, and attend selected counts on a random basis;
Ensure the accuracy and matching of Inventory records in GL and MM modules;
Review, assure and test the accounting determination (GL Mapping) for inventory transactions and movement types when needed;
Review and ensure the monthly clearance of all blocked inventory, and escalate the unjustified blocked inventory to CFO and EXCOM;
Analyze and reconcile all GL inventory accounts and inventory expenses, and ensure the accuracy of Business Area and Cost Center allocation;
Monthly reporting for Inventory aging, and Inventory breakdown per location, category and sub category levels;

Proven working experience in a large no. of inventory SKUs (+1000);
7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Bachelor in Accounting
CPA or CMA preferred
Strong knowledge of Management Accounting
Experience in Retail business (preferred)
Experience in ERP systems (SAP Preferred)
Excellent skills and knowledge in MS Excel and Power point
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Strong report writing, analytical, presentation, coaching and communication skills
High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and details & results-orientation
