Job Description
Mumm Android Senior engineer is a very unique and challenging position as it requires multi skilled individual to do the job right. You will work on both the cook and the user apps. The cook app is very unique in its nature given that we are building this model in a unique form to export it to the world as mumm scales.
- Translate designs and wire-frames into high quality code
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 4+ Years working experience in software development
- Working experience in Android Development
- Experience with Android SDK
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
