Job Description
- Meeting or communicating with department representatives to understand what they want out of a project, and helping them get those ideas out in a workable way;
- Designing advertisements, annual reports, artwork, books and their covers, brochures, logos, signs, stickers, tee shirts, web pages and other branding and communication materials;
- Revising a design brief so it fits budget and ideas more closely;
- Creating designs by hand, drawing or painting—or using computer software to achieve similar ends;
- Pitching an idea of how to actualize a client’s project;
- Revising a design or project deliverable to meet specifications;
- Learning how to use a new software or program;
Job Requirements
Minimum required Education and years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline
- 4+ years related experience
Language Proficiency
- Excellent English & Arabic, other language is an asset Minimum required Professional Experience
Skills and Abilities
- Adaptive design eye and skill
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and manager
Professional Knowledge
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
- Experience working with Wordpress templates
