Job Dimensions

Manages, develops and owns work processes that integrate customer delivery requirements into manufacturing plans. Supervise the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing, secure the material replenishment planning, owns the supplier relationships and performance reporting, and secure master data activities. Reports to the Regional Integrated Planning Director, with a doted to the site lead and is a member of the plant Leadership Team.

Scope of the Role

  • Lead, coach and develop the team and the team members. Conduct meaningful Individual performance and development plans. Responsible for process adherence, training attendance and new knowledge/process implementation.
  • Is an active member of the Plant leadership team, representing Supply Chain Planning function. Maintains compliance with company policies in regard to safety, quality and finance.
  • Articulate Regional Planning OGSMs in specific and actionable local actions.
  • Lead the monthly and weekly RCCP/MPS, MRP and scheduling of the plant, taking into account unconstrained demand, agreed inventory targets and required service levels.
  • Articulate required capacity planning short, mid and long term and secure with LST the right match capacity vs load, still in protecting a level of headspace for unforeseen events.
  • Responsible for full adherence of STEM (Short Term Exception Management) process with Regional planning and Countries (content and timing), in order to secure flawless alignment on priorities and mitigation actions.
  • Drive at plant level, the Schedule Attainment and MPSA performance – secure the right root-cause definition and drive appropriate action plans with respective functions.
  • Owns Material suppliers’ performance tracking, reporting and implementation of correctives actions, in full support of regional MSM and source.
  • Integrate PIPO in weekly/daily process, secure SC planning readiness (master data, R&P material and scheduling), and drive execution with minimum to no slob.
  • Lead and/or is an active member of initiatives to improve Planning processes, systems and maturity level. Partners effectively with local or regional stakeholders to secure common improvement agenda
  • Own the process of releasing the inbound imported materials and outbound export FG while ensuring compliance with local regulations (Custom, MOH, and General Authority of Imp & Exp control)
  • Lead logistics 3rd parties at different custom points (Sea, Air and dry ports for export) to give the right direction and ensure the compliance with custom regulation
  • Asses and calibrate service providers (logistics 3rd parties) performance and own the renewal of their contracts.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Training:

  • University Degree, Masters level or equivalent in Engineering or Supply Chain related subject. MBA is a plus.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in various supply chain functions
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in Manufacturing
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in supply or demand planning
  • Familiarity with (local) regulations, GMP, ISO requirements is desirable
  • APICS certified
  • Fluent in English and Italian essential (writing & oral); fluency in additional European Languages is a plus

Type of Experience:

  • Working experience in a large international company performing various functions within supply chain; strong preference for manufacturing experience.
  • People management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is required, with a preference for BPCS (AS 400) SAP R/3 and APO
  • Proven strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate successful leadership, planning management expertise, and strategic thinking
  • Experience should demonstrate people management expertise and strong cross-functional business acumen
  • Strong financial awareness and planning experience is a must
