Senior Contracts Engineer

KONE, one of the global leaders in the elevator and escalator industry, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and experienced Senior Contracts Engineer.

Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will proactively be working with the projects teams to make sure that KONE is adhering to local and global policies/regulations and sticking to its rights under existing contracts. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of being a go-getter and who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the project teams in reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence and advise on matters that have contractual or financial implications
• Support the project teams in issuing all relevant contractual notices timeously and in accordance with the provisions of the contract throughout the project
• Support with the variation process to ensure KONE’s position is secured financially and contractually
• Assist in the selection and appointment of subcontractors to ensure appropriate terms and conditions of appointment, including negotiation of any loss or expense claims while work is in progress
• Maintain accurate files for all contracts and correspondence
• Ensure invoice disputes are resolved with the maximum benefit to the project
• Maintain strong connections with the team to share best practices and achieve targeted business results
