Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
- The role holder is responsible for executing timely, efficient, and effective processes related to maintenance of a defined set of master data in compliance with strategic needs and in accordance with the regulatory requirements in the country with an aim to ensure all easily accessibility of data, whenever required.
Key responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Defines master data requirements along with the reporting manager and executes frameworks for routine collection and maintenance of master data in line with the prescribed RtR processes requirements.
- Records and validates all the requests related to master data maintenance and ensures consistency by following data quality standards adopted by the group.
- Performs periodic checks to ensure completeness and compliance of the data stored in the systems.
- Adheres to controls by ensuring compliance with all internal and external control requirements.
- Ensures that all the documents are efficiently and timely archived for the purpose of future reference.
- Performs periodic master data cleansing and update activities.
- Delivers support to the organization when master data input is required and ensures data quality and consistency through periodic checks.
Self-Management Responsibilities
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended.
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
- Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Manager – Record to Report in order to meet section objectives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Professional Certifications Preferred

- Prior working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle) is preferred
- Years of Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Nature of Experience
- Prior experience in financial data management especially in maintenance of master data related to customers, vendors and general ledger
