Accountant

Job brief

• We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
• Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and
• procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and
• returns.
• To be successful in this role, the candidate should have previous experience with bookkeeping and the ability to detect numerical mistakes.
• The candidate will provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business.
• Under direct supervision of the Finance Manager, performs the daily activities of the accounting function and other duties as required by the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Generate periodic financial reports as required
• Prepares monthly schedules for F&B Sales mix
• Audits F&B cash handling procedures and performs cash vault audits
• Analyzes F&B credit card settlements and charge backs
• Reconciles POS system reports and contracted vendor settlement statements
• Assist in generating annual financial statements
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Assist in preparing budget forecasts
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Maintains Inventory detail records
