Job Description

  • Our venture is in the music industry. A well known booking agency for artists around the world, which has been set up since 2007. We are looking to support their team with a communicative, energetic, proactive communications assistant.
  • Most importantly should love music!

Job Description

  • Reporting directly to the agency’s Executive Manager, Communication Assistant is expected to coordinate live music engagements worldwide, between the company’s signed artists and the music venues, festivals, and agents working on each engagement.
  • Communications Assistant is expected to coordinate logistics of each live engagement as needed, possibly including visas, flights, trains, accommodation and other by-case requirements, and to manage and track the budgets associated with all such activity.
  • Communications Assistant will also lead interaction with artists and support in the business development operations.
  • This includes and not limited to writing social media posts, sending email marketing and coordinating meetings.
  • Furthermore, successful candidate is expected to represent the company in music industry conferences, workshops, and expos worldwide, and to assist Executive Manager in maintaining and growing relationships with the company’s main stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in fields related to business, project management, marketing, or sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills.
  • French or German is a plus
  • Digital and content marketing expertise is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Excellent ability to express ideas, to share information when needed, to understand and evaluate opinions, to provide and receive feedback, and to prepare clear communications.
  • Highly attentive to detail.
  • A reasonable understanding of budgets and budget management.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and works well under pressure.
  • Able to use the capabilities of others to solve problems, to express disagreements constructively, and to work well with others regardless of level or position.
  • Excellent skills in using computer software and digital applications, social media experience is a plus.
  • Able to work at late-afternoon and night time when needed, and to travel outside Egypt when needed.
