Job Description
- Understanding details about each individual project from project coordinators and reading client instructions carefully before accepting projects
- Dividing and allocating job duties and tasks among Desktop Publishing Team members and reassigning tasks dynamically as needed
- Making sure team members fully understand and are capable of performing allocated tasks
- Responding to project coordinators regarding internal team capabilities and managing internal deadlines accordingly
- Coordinating between project coordinators and the desktop publishing team
- Following up on the status of tasks allocated to each individual team member and updating project coordinators as needed
- Continuously communicating with project coordinators our internal capabilities in order to help them manage customer expectations
- Researching and testing current software and software features to improve accuracy and efficiency of production; evaluating new hardware and software to determine suitability for present and future needs; identifying and takes corrective action to resolve routine hardware/software problems.
- Coordinating with the desktop publishing team manager
Job Requirements
- Previous work experience from 2-4 years’ experience is a must
- Previous managerial or team leading experience is an asset
- Previous experience or background in Localization Project Management and Desktop publishing is an asset.
- Excellent English language skills (Reading and Writing)
