  • The Law firm is seeking an extremely impelled and driven senior lawyer who can play a key role in developing the practice and resolving some of the four continents most complex, high value disputes.

  • The proper candidate ought to possess robust business and client development skills.
  • Furthermore we expect him/her to contribute effectively towards our ongoing strategy and regional development.
  • Use mediation techniques to facilitate communication between disputants, to further parties' understanding of different perspectives, and to guide parties toward mutual agreement.
  • Arbitrate disputes between parties to resolve legal conflicts.
  • Confer with disputants to clarify issues, identify underlying concerns, and develop an understanding of their respective needs and interests.
  • Meet with individuals involved in legal processes to provide information and clarify issues.
  • Authorize payments to settle legal disputes.
  • Conduct hearings to obtain information or evidence relative to disposition of claims.
  • Conduct hearings to investigate legal issues.
  • Rule on exceptions, motions, or admissibility of evidence.
  • Rule on admissibility of legal proceedings.
  • Prepare settlement agreements for disputants to sign.
  • Prepare legal documents.
  • Set up appointments for parties to meet for mediation.
  • Coordinate legal schedules or activities.
  • Prepare written opinions or decisions regarding cases.
  • Prepare written decisions for legal proceedings.
  • Interview claimants, agents, or witnesses to obtain information about disputed issues.Interview claimants to get information related to legal proceedings.
  • Apply relevant laws, regulations, policies, or precedents to reach conclusions.
  • Identify implications for cases from legal precedents or other legal information.
  • Make decisions in legal cases.
  • Conduct initial meetings with disputants to outline the arbitration process, settle procedural matters such as fees, or determine details such as witness numbers or time requirements.
  • Meet with individuals involved in legal processes to provide information and clarify issues.
  • Determine extent of liability according to evidence, laws, or administrative or judicial precedents.
  • Make decisions in legal cases.
  • Evaluate information from documents such as claim applications, birth or death certificates, or physician or employer records.
  • Evaluate information related to legal matters in public or personal records.
  • Conduct studies of appeals procedures to ensure adherence to legal requirements or to facilitate disposition of cases.
  • Research relevant legal materials to aid decision making.
  • Issue subpoenas or administer oaths to prepare for formal hearings.
  • Prepare legal documents.
  • Administer oaths to court participants.
  • Research laws, regulations, policies, or precedent decisions to prepare for hearings.

Job Requirements

  • Fluent English Language skills.
  • 8 years PQE + Dispute Resolution/Arbitration.
  • International disputes experience.
  • Excellent business development skills/ability to forge new business relationships.
  • Outstandingly talented.
  • Driven and hard-working.
  • Able to assume the challenges of a demanding and cosmopolitan practice.
  • Vast experience in international arbitrations conducted in English.
  • Able to manage teams and very erudite in arbitration.
