Job Description

Overview of Quality Section:

  • Ensure all completed development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution and issue tracking.
  • Ensure development deliverables meet documented requirements, use cases and minimum usability standards.
  • Track and report on product issues and readiness.
  • Company Quality Assurance (Audit Role)
  • Perform audits of ITG’s departments’ adherence to QCPs.
  • Report variances to management.
  • Make recommendations for remediation.

General Statement of Duties:

  • He/She will be responsible for creating and implementing standards for testing the software and the products as well as verifying the processes and activities of the projects against those standards and requirements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement a comprehensive Quality strategy encompassing all aspects of Quality management, and participate in business planning and strategy formulation.
  • Develop, maintain and ensure compliance of Quality strategy, policies and procedures, and submit any changes to the CEO for approval.
  • Create quality plans for each ITG project and ensure that it is adhered to by the quality team.
  • Make decisions regarding project release / no release according to the Quality Assurance recommendations
  • Oversee the development of progress reports and communicate regularly the quality status and progress of all projects assigned to concerned parties.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and project changes from a quality perspective.
  • Supervise and evaluate project quality activities and resources within the project.
  • Improve the deliverables quality among projects by implementing effective work processes as needed
  • Implement quality auditing process for all activities and processes within ITG
  • Manage the configuration of the product by implementing and monitoring the change and versions control process.
  • Support the project team in understanding the quality requirements
  • Create and implement standards for testing and quality controlling.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the Quality team, and ensure that they have the proper technical and professional capabilities needed to meet the division’s requirements.
  • Ensure that Quality Department employees carry out their duties in accordance with the requirements of the performance standards and code of ethics.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals to review employees’ performance in the Quality Department, recommend salary increases, rewards and promotions, and carry out disciplinary meetings when needed.
  • Manage the activities of the Quality Department. Perform management duties and exercise authorities at the level granted to the position as per the approved policies and authorities’ matrix.
  • Provide management with the needed reports to support business decision making.
  • Attend and contribute to management meetings in order to communicate effectively within the organization and provide guidance and support to overall business decision making.
  • Delivers content in a variety of online, in-person or print formats to support training, reporting, documentation, presentation and other communications.
  • Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information using some established procedures.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from multiple systems when information is income

Job Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Any related field (Masters is preferred), with a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 2 years at a managerial level.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, and loyalty.
  • High proficiency in English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
