Job Description
- Analyze the drawing plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
- General support – assist in the preparation of layouts, drawings and preliminary sketches.
- Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
- Specifying the nature and quality of materials required.
- Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
- To prepare the structural Designs of buildings.
- Coordinate with the Design Department the drawings.
- Managing multiple sites from A to Z.
- Coordinate with materials suppliers.
- Prepare BOQ and QS Files.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with building code and zoning
- BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience 5 Years.
- Proficient in MS Tools, PowerPoint & Word and structure design Programs
- Extensive knowledge in AutoCAD is a must.
- Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and usable drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
