Job Description
- Customer satisfaction based on a high on-time-delivery performance
- Best logistic cost level associated to the agreed service levels
- Appropriate inventory level of finished products, in accordance to the agreed service levels and other relevant Supply Chain specifics
- Align with sales team about stock and confirm delivery dates
- Follow up with internal and external audits
- Follow up customer clearance issues
- Use SAP system
- Inbounds and outbounds on system
Daily operations
- Manage daily operations like order management
- Solve issues with customers and suppliers, purchase ordering to various suppliers, follow-up incoming shipments, import related formalities, outbound delivery management
Operational planning
- According to an agreed schedule and with respect for the given deadlines, provide a Purchase forecast with a high degree of accuracy and translate this into requirements towards the different suppliers considering the agreed target stock levels
Tactical-Strategic
- Propose yearly budget (monthly inventory planning, purchases, logistic costs), with targets and action plan for improvements.
Management:
- Manage a team of logistics coordinators
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Logistics field in Egypt
- Minimum of 5 years of experience Industry experience in Egyptian market ( recent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in team leading role
- Accounting software SAP Knowledge preferred
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
- Excellent commercial sense and interest in business
- Familiarity in IFRS, GAAP and SOX is advantageous
- Exposure on Multi Currency handling
- Working knowledge on legal framework, meet lawyers and represent the case and provide backup papers and lesioning
- Trading, Manufacturing and Service related accounting knowledge preferred
- Working Experience with government department (Electricity, Telephone, Chamber of Commerce, Economic department) preferred
Education:
- Bachelor Degree faculty of foreign commerce
Skills:
- Excellent MS office Skills (Advance Excel, Word and Power point)
- Excel Level 3 knowledge a must (Macros, Pivot Table, Advance Excel formulas)
- Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written English
