Position Summary:

Tech Architect is primarily responsible to create and deliver Low-level design (LLD) and as-built documentation for Remote Monitoring and Management (NOC) projects. Acting as a subject matter expert on one or more technologies or services, the position requires interaction with internal teams & external customers and suppliers at a professional level. Responsibilities include ownership and management of complex projects in a manner that will result in the achievement of customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Position is responsible to translate High-Level designs to LLD documents for RMM and other services delivered by NOC
  • Position is required to either own or actively participate in various tasks during service design and service transition including tools set up, documentation creation, knowledge transfers, workshops etc. Role requires leadership in a dynamic and deadline driven environment.
  • Work with other internal and external teams to ensure that processes, documentation and tools are aligned with services in scope. Required to develop a solution that is mutually acceptable to the client and NCR.
  • Provides technical assistance during project implementation phase including Test and Turn-Up (TTU) activities.
  • Actively participate in Day 0 and Day 1 activities (technical design and technical implementation) for NOC customers. Support other internal and external teams to ensure relevant tasks are successfully completed in time
  • Perform other corresponding duties and tasks in accordance with his qualifications, as directed by Employer
  • Successful completion of all appointed training courses and achieve certifications; Self-study is encouraged
  • Role requires flexibility in working hours within 24/7 shift schedules which may change according to business requirements; Weekend or holiday hours, and/or extended hours are expected

Job Requirements

Pre-requisites:

  • Expert level networking certification or equivalent networking background is needed
  • Subject Matter Expert in multiple Networking technologies/vendor solutions
  • Proven experience with creation of relevant LLD documents
  • High school diploma required/University degree preferred
  • Relevant work experience, 8+ years preferred

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience with IT Troubleshooting processes and procedures
  • Good understanding ITIL practices.
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of remote support technologies and strategies
  • Experience with ticket management, network management, monitoring and analysis tools
  • Wide range of IT skills/experience
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Good team working and leadership
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to forecast workload and achieve set goals within deadlines

Special Requirements:

  • Proven capability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and to drive them to completion effectively.
  • Knowledge Owner, responsible for maintaining and expanding the NOC knowledgebase
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Innovative attitude, stress resistant, team player, flexible
  • Independent worker, logical thinker
  • Languages: English B2 (written and verbal), with good understanding of technical English
