Job Description

  • The organizational development (OD) Specialist position acts as an organizational development advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates the organization's initiatives across the organization. The OD manager plans, develops, implements and administers HR programs for company employees. This position is also responsible for the development and integration of human resource programs and associated projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Create and implement programs at work that connect employees with business goals.
  • Consult with management and other leadership to identify business processes.
  • Identify and evaluate business initiatives to ascertain appropriate programs that meet company goals.
  • Develop methods for data file formatting, data analysis methodologies, and management reporting.
  • Create effective strategic planning methods.
  • Identify data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets.
  • Implement organizational effectiveness interventions.
  • Create competency models.
  • Develop team-building exercises and workshops.
  • Help employees create project timelines and deadlines.
  • Implement major changes in all aspects of the operation.
  • Talk with management to identify specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
  • Develop methods of measuring if performance management aligns with organizational goals.
  • Resolve conflict within groups.
  • Diagnose potential organizational problem areas.
  • Recommend training and development systems.
  • Create definitions of the desired individual or group performance.

Job Requirements

  • 3 years at least of successful experience in an HR Leadership role
  • Experience in process improvement and implementation of supporting technologies
  • Experience developing metrics to describe success, implementing data study and providing recommendations
  • Collaborate with individuals across all areas of an organization including Executives
  • Experience dealing with the complexities of a growing organization
  • Interpersonal skills with a reputation as diplomatic, collaborative, approachable and knowledgeable
  • Males ONLY.
  • BA in Business or similar. MA preferred
  • Retail background is a MUST.
  • Experience in Computer Hardware & IT is a PLUS.
  • Nasr City residence is preferred.
