Job Description
- Obtain the best price and from the local vendor
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs received from Head-office& After-sales Dep.
- Reviews planned orders, create requisitions for purchased items, and manage the approval process.
- Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to the supplier.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices.
- Coordinate with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Dealing with claims and rejections.
- Updating and maintain strong suppliers data, cards and Files.
- Identify/study cost-saving areas.
- Study and select the best purchasing term (freight term/payment term).
Job Requirements
- University bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- Has 2-4 years’ experience as a Purchasing Specialist (preferably in one of the leading Automotive companies or the Spare parts sector).
- Possess excellent computer skills and acquaintance with ERP systems.
- Possess high reporting skills.
- Good oral and written English and Arabic is a must.
