Job Description

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relationships with local and international stakeholders (govt bodies, associations, agencies, NGOs, academic institutions etc), which will have an impact on Informa’s business in Egypt and beyond.
  • Help to position Informa Egypt as a key partner for inbound and outbound trade in relevant sectors
  • Work with GM and EDs/EMs to develop strategies to engage with relevant organisations, and maximise their impact on our business and events
  • Utilise the expertise of stakeholders to help develop education and engagement programmes for the industries we serve, both during the show and year-round
  • Utilise to sectorial insights to develop the offering of the show, through features and activities
  • Maximise revenues from local and international associations, and their members
  • Leverage stakeholder relationships to maximise exhibitor revenue
  • Develop and manage the Hosted Buyer programmes for each of the events
  • Manage and develop high level delegations from across the MEA region
  • Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility.

Reporting

  • Ongoing liaison with GM and EDs/EMs
  • Weekly/Monthly written reports
  • Annual tracking and reporting of revenue and visitor impacts

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience in dealing with governmental bodies
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High levels of numeracy

DESIRABLE

  • Key account management experience
  • Awareness of exhibition industry
  • Relevant industry knowledge
