Job Description
Data Collection:
- Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
- Planning, Studying and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
Inventory:
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.
Analysis:
- Analyzing data collected and recording results.
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic.
- Report on margins by product and division.
- Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
- Analyze capital budgeting requests.
- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Job Requirements
- 10 years' experience related Industry/manufacturing and in Costing & Budgeting.
- BA degree and post Graduate are preferred.
- Well as excellent analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
- Helpful to have experience manipulating large databases.
- English good spoken & Written.
