Job Description

  • Support the Deputy Executive Director in preparing, attending and minutes taking of Wataneya’s stakeholders' meetings, Ministry, donors, and social care homes…etc. and in following up and documenting the outcomes’ action plans.
  • Co-facilitates and organizes internal meetings and workshops related to the Executive Director Office.
  • Support the Deputy Executive Director in preparing letters and presentations, and Memorandum of understanding MoU with third-party entities/consultants as required.
  • Participate in developing ToRs for External Consultants and trainers who deliver external technical services for Wataneya Society.
  • Assist in organizing and running meetings and workshops to get feedback from the target group (Institutions, Volunteers, Donors, Wataneya members).
  • Alert the Deputy when unforeseen matters related to the set plans that may require urgent attention and actions
  • Participate in the development of concept papers, project proposals… etc.
  • Manage & update Wataneya’s Knowledge Management Hub.

Job Requirements

Qualifications (Required):

Education

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field.

Relevant Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in the same position.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent writing skills both in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times.
  • Strong planning, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, creative and self-motivated.
  • Excellent in proposal writing.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent conflict resolution/ problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with different stakeholders; governmental, the private sector, donor agencies, and local partners.

Computer Skills

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
