Job Description

Your position will ultimately require you to liaison several projects at the same time with the same level of efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring the utmost quality under the planned time schedule.

Quality Assurance

  • Study the project's drawings for any further amendments related to the installation process.
  • Maintaining accurate technical drawings and system diagrams for all the phases of the projects.
  • Conducts monitoring and quality assurance of all long-term and short-term interventions.
  • Ensure project quality and safety measures.

Time :

  • Maintain and manage the projects schedules for delivery and meeting deadlines.
  • Follow up project time program and ensure site activities timings

Budgeting :

  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
  • Manage the performance of the project including management of contractual concerns, profits, and losses, the progress of work. Assemble and supervise the project teams, direct preparation and update project budget.
  • Responsible for all monthly payment, claims, invoices, etc.
  • Cash flow management and eye on expenses

Coordination and Reporting :

  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Ensure proper execution of contracts with the client, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Responsible for all the correspondences with the engineer/consultant.
  • Ensure professional development and perform periodic performance appraisals for team heads.
  • Direct the team of senior technicians and technicians within each phase of each project on daily basis.
  • Establish projects status reports for accurate follow of the delivery and testing schedules.
  • Maintain accurate, organized and current compliance records and documentation in a manner consistent with the departments' needs and as per the contract with the client.
  • Adhere to all the project documentation & filling
  • Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
  • Develop the project organization chart and define the project team members.
  • Follow up on procurement and material activities (coordinate with the head office if needed).
  • Responsible for the project closeout reports.
  • Act as the link between the Head Office management and the Site to ensure that the different functions in the Head Office are correctly applied in the project.

Job Requirements

  • Max age 35 years
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering (Construction)
  • Master’s degree in engineering management or business administration is preferred
  • 5-10 years’ engineering experience in project management
  • Preferable experience on BIM (building information modeling)
  • PMP certification is preferable
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage effectively individuals at all levels
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, Smart draw and AutoCAD • Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems
  • Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team
  • Experience and hands on the high quality, luxurious details of decoration elements and materials
  • Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track
  • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
  • Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience
  • Ability to work under pressure
