Job Description
- Study all tender documents
- Providing detailed quotations for plumbing, firefighting, and HVAC
- Prepare a project brief
- Prepare and compile the BOQ in accordance with Tender instructions
- Compare and contrast between tender specifications and drawings
- Attend tender site visit and prepare the report
- Contact suppliers and subcontractors for the offer
- Comparative analysis between different offers
- Negotiate and reach agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
- Compile a list of suppliers and subcontractors categorized with remarks, history, and reliability
- To be the company's internal contact point for the client during the inquiry and bidding process
- Present the company profile for prospective clients
- Present the company during any phase of the tendering and bidding process
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering only
- 5-8 years’ work experience in Tendering Mechanical Department in the construction industry
- Experience in Construction, Finishing and Fit out projects
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Power Point, AutoCAD and Primavera
- Good command of the English Language (Written and Spoken)
- Time management and abiding to strict deadlines
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Organization Skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
