Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary:

Supervises daily warehouse operations and functions including scheduling, training of warehouse personnel, managing the material standardization, inventory control and warehousing receiving area, distribution to assembly areas, shipping area and packing area; Maintain stock levels, monitor quality and audit the stocks, receive approved materials and submit to production when needed in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Key roles and accountabilities

• Receiving equipments, materials, spare parts, consumables and chemicals in the stores correctly, by verifying goods received against the purchasing order quantities and specifications. In cases of doubt, refers to his Plant GM.

• Storing material and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions for protection and preservation.

• Issuing materials and spare parts as per Production Cycle procedures to quality inspection area, assembly areas and testing areas.

• Receive the approved materials from test areas and store it properly.

• Dispose the required materials in the proper time to the shipping area.

• Report shortages/overages of any items/materials and analyzes stock deviation.

• Prepare all shipments to different Clients.

• Receiving un-conformity goods from assembly and testing to the holding area.

• Recording material movements in a timely fashion and stored materials in the computerized system.

• Monitors picking, packing, shipping and receiving of all orders. Processes items in a timely manner, Insures that all items are packed to protect merchandise according to company quality and standards. Evaluates materials used in packing and recommends changes as appropriate.

• Maintain consistent stock balances by adhering to strict inventory control procedures.

• Reviews and upgrades inventory procedures as per the group policy and recommendation of the management and group audit review.

• Supervises physical inventory counts performed during annual inventories.

• Drives Production Cycle procedures among warehouse and workshop operations.

• Work together with the procurement and custom declaration departments to verify the technical scope of purchasing from suppliers.

• Ensures the compliance with Management objectives regarding material classification requirement and material stocking.

• Maintain a high level understanding of workshop areas requirement/contracting needs as well as technical requirements.

• Capable to drive overhead and fork lift in safe and expedite manners.

• Supervise his warehouse cleaning.
