Job Description

  • Litigation legal assistants perform administrative tasks such as drafting and filing legal documents, scheduling meetings, communicating with clients, and performing research.
  • Interacting with a variety of people, from clients and attorneys to city officials and opposing counsel, litigation legal assistants must have strong communication skills that allow them to work effectively with others. Those well-suited to this profession are sharp, personable, and extremely organized.

Overview and Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will provide administrative support to the business and legal affairs team
  • Scheduling of meetings, conference calls, and appointments; answering phones, receiving, relaying and responding to internal and external messages and communications;
  • Handling, sorting, screening and prioritizing internal and external communications and written correspondence, particularly with current productions;
  • Drafting business letters, memoranda or other communications as directed by supervisors; revising, proofreading and other word processing of business and legal contracts
  • Creating and maintaining efficient and organized individual and departmental centralized filing systems;
  • facilitating travel arrangements; coordinating administrative logistics; preparing and processing expense reports
  • Supervising undergraduate and graduate student interns
  • Coordinating daily/weekly/monthly calendars and schedules for executives

Job Requirements

  • Use Word Perfect software for the pleading format
  • Set up appearance attorneys and get the court docs to appearance attorney 48hrs in advance
  • All 5 states must know e-filing requirements and mail filing procedures. (California, Nevada, Washington, Arizona, Oregon(
  • Must know how to draft pleadings. No cut and paste. Intro, summary, law(cut n paste), conclusion.
  • Must know statutes for each state for notice
  • Must know how to file and calendar motions. Each state has its own procedure
  • Get familiar with intestate succession.
  • Before attorney received docs must be proofread, spell-checked, and formatted correctly per state requirements.
  • Experience in real estate law
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide attention to detail.
  • Strong, polished interpersonal skills and ability to work with all types of personalities and work styles and express a client-first attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to exercise flexibility with workload with the ability to prioritize.
  • Professional demeanor and exceptional phone presentation and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise solid business judgment, maintains confidentiality, and work independently.
  • High-level proficiency with Windows, Microsoft office
  • Lives in Hurghada or willing to relocate.
  • Have no problem working overnight shifts (from 7 pm till 3 am)
  • Fluently spoken and written English is mandatory.
