Job Description
Role Purpose:
- The main responsibility of the software quality control engineer is to:
- Test software Development Applications to produce qualified products, and applications that are free of defects through understanding the testing process including test environment, data management, trouble reporting and resolution, and test design and development.
- Review the requirement work items (produced by business analysis team) and make sure that the produced Software Does match the requirement.
- Analyze Business Change requests on existing systems with business team/ Product manager and Create change requests Work Items
- Execute automated test cases and report the result in suitable form.
- Execute integration Certificate test cases with external parties (like banks, telecommunication ...etc.).
- To test the functionality of the application
- To extract log and track any bugs, issues, defects in the reviewed documents, application modules in the issues repository
- In order to take corrective or preventive actions if needed
- To check the success of the offered solutions from software developers
- To be able to execute different performance tests
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years of work experience in software testing experience.
- Certified ISTQB foundation level .
- Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) technique is a definite plus
- Working knowledge of Java or C#, and their unit testing frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of test automation tools and techniques
- Good knowledge of relational databases and Microsoft SQL Server in particular
- Good understanding of HTML
- Working knowledge of TFS or GIT version control systems
- Good understanding of Agile methods and techniques
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-planning skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of computer graphics and usability.
- Experience deploying and using automated testing technologies.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills.
- Creative thinking in approach to product testing.
- Energetic and enthusiastic and able to work flexibly in a highly dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
