Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Follow up the execution of his assigned project regarding electrical related tasks
- Close-up electrical tasks related to assigned project at the end of the project to hand over the projects on time.
- Monitor and control site work time schedule for assigned projects to ensure complete all projects are completed on-time.
- Follow-up site work on mechanical aspects (HVAC- firefighting & plumbing) or electrical aspects (ELV, Fire alarm, low current systems power & lighting)
- Review shop drawing and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) to ensure it matches company needs and ensure cost efficiency
- Review and negotiate consultant’s proposals in terms of technical and value engineering to find best/most efficient terms for company side.
- Preparing follow-up & status reports for assigned projects to represent & summarize current status to direct manager
- Discuss & review with consultant material submitter and product catalog to ensure all specification are matched with company needs
- During the project, discuss with consultants regarding his comments and submit it to direct manager to take the right option
- Develop frequent reports to be submitted to direct manager to reveal achieved versus planned objectives.
- Follow the instructions, requirements of the quality, safety and occupational health, the environment and road safety management system
- Perform any other assigned tasks as required by the direct manager within the same level of responsibility.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Major: Mechanical (Power) OR Electrical.
- 3-5 years of experience at consultant and/or contractor company (Turn-key projects).
- Good user of AutoCAD and MS office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Excellent Time Management and Planning skills.
- Good knowledge at material selection and prepare technical and financial offers
- Very Good command of English language spoken and written.
