Job Description

THE JOB:

  • Reporting directly to the Company Owner/Chairman, you will manage a range of key duties across the business.
  • Working closely with the various departmental managers as well as your own team (who will report directly to you), you will act as the company’s lynchpin and will leverage your strong management skills to assume responsibility for the smooth running of the business.

Your role will include:

  • Daily liaison with directors and department managers, completing tasks as directed
  • Production of spreadsheets, documents, and reports as required
  • Liaison with government/customs officials and external suppliers
  • Overseeing and holding all legal contracts (including ensuring timely renewals)
  • Overseeing and holding accountancy spreadsheets
  • Office management
  • Recruitment
  • Management of several external buildings (including maintenance, safety, and rents)
  • Management of several shops and a farm (some agricultural knowledge is desirable, but not essential; knowledge of leases and retail is desirable)
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records and filing systems in relation to all aspects of the business
  • Conducting research and providing feedback in relation to all aspects of the business
  • Keen interest in and awareness of all elements of the business
  • Occasional assistance with in business trade shows and conventions, as well as scheduling training and seminars for employees

Job Requirements

The Role:

  • Female ages 35-50
  • 10-year senior secretarial experience, preferably across a range of business sectors
  • Mother-tongue level Arabic + outstanding spoken and written English + (ideally) at least 1 other language
  • Solid IT & secretarial skills (email, Excel, Word, scanning, etc)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accountancy (spreadsheets)
  • Demonstrable legal knowledge and experience (contracts)
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Office Management and Recruitment
