Job Description

  • Provide sales support by increasing the sales of cabins on board of MSC cruises and expanding the number of new customers as well as opening new corporate accounts for the cruises outbound area in order to achieve the department target and goals.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position.
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential sales outlets.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services.
  • Give live updated system training to Travel agents staff to enable them handle objections and convince customers to buy.
  • Initiate and develop a strong relationship with clients through direct follow up.
  • Prepare weekly /monthly Sales visits plan according to the policy / trend adopted at that period.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting reports with sales and financial data.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Meet financial objectives by following up outstanding from the clients upon scheduled payment.
  • Recommends changes in service and /or policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, skills and techniques.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Collaborate with team to achieve better results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or any equivalent university degree.
  • 3-5 year experience in sales, Cruises field is an advantage.
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, decision-making, leadership, team player, stress tolerance, adaptability/flexibility, problem solving, confident, self-driven, dynamic, eager to leans, and able to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
