Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a web developer who could help us build world class customer experience and execute best-in-class implementations.
- Work with business leaders to define product requirements
- Work with engineers to define technical requirements
- Design, develop, and enhance websites and mobile applications
- Participate in full development life cycle from concept to deployment.
- Follow best practices for native application development. Work closely with management, architects and other team members to understand and address the specific requirements.
- Perform trouble-shooting and programming analysis of system issues.
- Produce quality code that performs well and follows the standards that are in place.
- Contribute positively to overall success of the web team and the ability to meet the required deadlines.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science Engineering or relevant study
- 4+ years of Business Intelligence/Data Engineering experience
- Good understanding of data models, structures and governance
- Data Science and Big Data Analytics Diploma is a plus
- Sound knowledge of data performance and data security
- Awareness of ethical aspects of data
- Previous experience with data warehousing, data modeling concepts and building new DW tables
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data
- Utilize blended data from multiple data sources to provide comprehensive reporting solutions
- Knowledge of working with an enterprise data warehouse and large sets of data
- Extensive experience with relational databases both, normalized and denormalized star schemas.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience in ETL and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets
- Fundamental understanding of Business Intelligence architectures and exposure to many platforms, languages, applications, and frameworks (R, Python, Perl, C++, Java, API’s, JSON, XML, HTML5/CSS, PHP, SQL, JIRA, OBIEE)
Tools:
- Classic RDBM
- Columnar and NoSQL databases
- Working experience with Tableau and ETL tools such as Alteryx, Pentaho or Informatica
- Advanced working experience of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
- Amazon Redshift and Amazon Web Services: Glue, Lambda, S3, and Athena
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent Understands business requirements
- Experience effectively translating between business value, requirements, and technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with technical teams
- Proven business analysis and problem-solving abilities
