Job Description
Job Summary :
- Plan, direct and manage the Logistics and Warehousing, Purchasing, Component Localization and Planning activities.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks :
- Approve bid proposals and specifications, initiate Requests for
- Quotation and present purchasing requests for management approval
- Evaluate overall revisions for prices and past performance of each contract and propose price increases or price improvement initiatives
- Develop and institutionalize component localization strategy to ensure availability of products to fill production and service orders in time
- Manage distribution, warehousing, inventory and stock control, transportation, shipping and customs activities to achieve the most cost efficient and smooth material feed to the production lines and material support of non-direct (consumable) materials for all the company
- Respond to correspondence and handles special assignments and problems, such as responses to specific inquiries and bid protests
- Establish priorities, assign workload and review the more difficult and
- complex assignments within the functions
- Meet production demand requirements through established procedures to identify and select the best vendors, suppliers and contractors
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease
- turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively
- and jointly to provide seamless customer service
- Continually review and analyze stock and operational plans for ensuring-adequate stock availability of all products across the company
Job Requirements
- Experience in Automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Advance study in procurement is a plus
- Strong team spirit and team building.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good command of English language.
