Job Description

Reporting to the Qualitative Head this role is to be responsible for the development of Qualitative business through fundamentals such as training and development of associates, client satisfaction and improvement of processes. Should have a good understanding of quantitative research to take on the lead for some key.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for a team of researchers and their preparation, execution and delivery of projects.
  • Will have to undertake desk research for briefing, questionnaire, charting and presentation either with or without Project Management (PM) team involvement.
  • Responsible for the training and development of his/her team.
  • Provide client servicing and build industry knowledge to support more advanced inquiries.
  • Collaborate across Nielsen’s business units to support business development and ongoing business process improvements.
  • Take initiative in seeking resources/assistance, make corrections while ensuring the project executed within the schedule timeline and budget.
  • Participate in regular review/feedback of systems, procedures and any operation concerns with the end goal of improving productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Partake in necessary company management meetings, sharing of information and insight that could prove valuable to other business units.

Requirements:

  • University degree in marketing, psychology or sociology related fields.
  • 5 – 7 years experiences in qualitative market research industry.
  • Proven team management ability – preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Previous experience in management of Qualitative Operations preferable.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge. Experience managing P&Ls is preferred.
  • Fluency (verbal and written) in Arabic & English is essential
