Job Description
Main Accountabilities:
- Coordinate with the internal teams on analytics requirement and business development
- Suggest right analytical approach based on the requirement to internal teams as well as clients.
- Partner with Client Service in research design (to enable analytics
- Guide analytics delivery along with the team
- Accompany internal client servicing teams for pitch and proposal presentations as a subject matter expertise. Would need to present as well
- Thought leadership - Should be able to think and research on evolving areas of analytics/ AI/Machine Learning/Big Data and how to apply that in market research.
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Skills Requirement:
- Strong conceptual understanding in the domain of market research, analytics and marketing
- Should have thorough knowledge working with various statistical packages (Must- SPSS, R/Python, Optional - can be seen as an advantage- AMOS, SAS, Latent Gold, Sawtooth, Xlstat etc)
- Complete understanding of traditional multivariate techniques used in market research and commonly used machine learning techniques (Like neural networks, boosting, splines, SVM, Bayesian analysis etc).
- Experience of working on segmentation and pricing studies, predictive analytics/propensity based modeling.
- Understanding on database management system (DBMS) and hands on working with large databases would be an added advantage.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Should be able to translate thoughts effectively in simple language to larger audience.
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduation in Management/ Business Analytics/Statistics.
- Graduation in Science, Statistics or Engineering a plus
- 12 to 14 years of specialized experience in analytics plus customized market research.
- It could be either in a market research organization or business consultancy or client side.
