Responsibilities
- Accountable for developing relationship with key Telecom client in order to service their research requirements and generate opportunities for Nielsen to pitch relevant solutions.
- Demonstrated recognition by client and other associates as an “expert” in research within the telecom space
- New opportunity prospecting, taking research brief, developing relevant proposal/ proposition
- Being involved in all research related stages like questionnaire development, data analysis and report writing.
- Provides advice on the execution of projects, informs clients on progress and gives specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information
- Present the findings of the report to client.
- Handle client queries or complaints. Client stakeholder management. Provide advice and consultation to clients and staff
- Managing client financials including invoicing and collection.
- Develops strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities of Nielsen
- Provide top management with thorough review of internal and client financials including budget and forecast
Job Requirements
Experience
- Strong client focus
- Strong understanding of Telecom consumer research to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders, and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights
- Ability to understand all technical and delivery aspects of the research to carry out internal Nielsen and client based conversations
- Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation.
- Excellent numerical skills
- Able to influence and persuade and to develop long term sustainable relationships.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent presentation development skills coupled with strong presentation delivery skills - Confident presenting skills to deliver insights, stories and actions in face to face or group presentations
- Displays maturity and creative problem solving skills in handling crises
- Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple stakeholders internally and externally
- Competent Negotiator with good influencing skills
- 8+ years working experience in Market Research
- Knowledge and exposure to more that one markets (worked preferably in the international arena/ client side/ agency side)
