Overview
Works independently taking full responsibility for a certain area. Works on Development projects using available frameworks and tools and establishing plans for projects with on-time and on-budget project goals. Primary role in Development in the areas of building and working on enterprise grade software systems, in line with agreed plans and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Selects appropriate standards, methods, tools and applications for project use.
- Develops and implements new software programs.
- Maintains and improves the performance of existing software.
- Works on multiple phases of a project and/or multiple small projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments.
- Designs and updates software database.
- Prepares reports, manuals and other documentations related to the status or the maintenance of the software.
- Identifies accurately project risks and reports effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Plans and delivers software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Fluent German is a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in web and software development.
- Good knowledge of java and other high level scripting languages
- Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of system architecture.
- Good knowledge of Object oriented programming
- Good Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Good Knowledge of Databases.
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
