Job Description

A Great Construction holding Company located in "Nasr City"

Requires for one of its companies in the field of Ready-mix Concrete

Technical Sales Manager (Concrete)

Responsible for:

  • Responsible for client negotiations pertaining to all commercial and contractual matters and tender bid submitting, negotiations and reviews.
  • Takes an active role in business development and tender negotiations, reviews, and meetings.
  • Responsible for the general management of sales activities of the company, including but not limited to liaising with clients relevant to price negotiations, local purchase orders, following up on payments/accounts, preparation of correspondence relevant to project/s/contracts ..etc.
  • Ensures a healthy business relationship between the company and contractors/consultant via open communication lines and regular consultations.
  • Ensures that commercial risks are reduced to the simplest minimum if not totally eliminated when closing sales contracts/agreements.
  • Apprise the management of commercial/sales performance and related developments and analyze the significant aspects of the data gathered to ensure its maximum application in the company’s overall sales and marketing targets and goals.
  • Assist in training and development of department staff in the promotion of quality standards and practices within the department.
  • Maintains a watching brief on all areas of the commercial/sales and marketing aspects of the business to ensure Unimix standards are agreed, set and maintained.
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s a strong presence.
  • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Ensures that deliverable documents required are submitted on time as specified in the Contract Monitor and record all variation orders and claims by the client.
  • Ensures that the resulting notices, cost estimates, and updates are submitted in line with the agreed timing and procedure.
  • Collects all necessary documentation relevant to the project and prepare periodic project monitoring reports

Job Requirements

  • At Least 7 Years of Experience in Sales.
  • At Least 3 Years of Experience in Managerial level.
  • Engineering Background is preferable.
  • Experience in Concrete or construction and building materials is a plus.
  • Committed to continuing education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
