Job Description
We are looking for a Networks Manager to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate should be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation
Main Duties:
- Supervise the existing network infrastructure and functionality.
- Enhance and develop network and server infrastructure.
- Keeping infrastructure protected and updated.
- Manage, track and supervise firewalls, connectivity and vulnerability checks.
- Design efficient and functional network systems.
- Manage servers, network applications, and network resources.
- Recommend equipment or supplies that would enable the network to function more efficiently.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner to decrease downtime.
- Ensure the completion of routine maintenance procedures.
- Prepare other related documents (e.g. policies and procedures, reports, budget requests, system level procedures, network configurations).
- Perform periodical analyses of network performance and recommends upgrades/changes.
- Ensure the execution and follow up of company network, domain and general IT policies, amend and improve if needed.
- Prepare and troubleshoot for annual audits.
- Ensure implementation of Logical security policies.
- Run periodical risk analysis and risk mitigation tests and policies.
- Incident reporting to CISO (Chief Information Security Officer).
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in managing Fortinet products (Fortigate in HA, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer).
- Experience in configuring and managing Juniper and HP switches.
- BGP Experience (Configuration/Troubleshooting) on Both Cisco routers and FortiGate Firewalls
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a network manager role for at least 5 years.
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
- Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals.
- Strong background in information technology with a clear understanding of the challenges of information security.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
- Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training.
- BSc degree in Computer Science or related field.
