Job Description
Windows System Administrator will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting and administering Windows 2012/2016 servers, Active Directory and its services, VMware and Storage, Data backup and recovery, Symantec Endpoint Protection and Sophos InterceptX Antivirus and Storage in a production environment.
Main Duties:
- Installation/administration of Antivirus & Backup service.
- Insure and enforce the rules and policies defined by the management.
- Create/modify Active Directory user accounts.
- Manage the user and computer environment through Group policy.
- Maintain security of hardware, software, and data file access.
- Check mail functionality, connections.
- Performing routine audits of systems and software.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries.
- System performance tuning for servers and workstations.
- Provide high level support for the Technical support specialists.
- Joining and managing users in an Active Directory Domain Environment.
- Troubleshooting any reported problems.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software
