Job Description

Credit Administrator is responsible for proper organisation of the process of customer identification, loan disbursement and proper preparation / storage of documentation obtained during the credit transaction to FAWRY microfinance customers.

  • Processing applications received from loan officers and sales representatives to confirm the completeness of the required documents and prepare loan contracts for signing with the customer and guarantors
  • Visiting the customer’s business premises to identify the customer, collect the missing documents and confirm the information obtained during the financial analysis, as well as confirm the ownership of the financed business to the customer
  • Control over timely, correct and complete identification of loan customers in case of his identification at FAWRY Plus outlets
  • Control of the correctness of data entry for loan contracts, guarantors’ agreements and possible additional agreements, such as restructuring, change of conditions, etc.
  • Ensure the completeness and proper storage of the package of documents used in the process of loan approval and its disbursement
  • Technical support of loan officers / sales representatives; providing information on customer requests
  • Providing access to available information and documentation for credit, underwriting, control and internal audit units
  • Collection of statistics on clients in the processing stage (pipeline) and reasons for the delay in loans disbursement
  • Identify and report suspicious transactions and decisions to management
  • Guarantee the confidentiality of processed information

Job Requirements

  • University degree of economics / banking / finance / accounting
  • Experience in credit controlling / financing / accounting (1 year +)
  • Good knowledge of internal rules and procedures
  • Attentiveness to details
  • Zero tolerance to violations of established rules and procedures
  • Flexibility to travel on short assignments
  • Proficiency in using MS Office products (Word, Excel).
