Job Description
- Participate in handling complex data network projects, and ability to provide technical proposals that speed problem resolution or better implementation of WOs
- Responsible for configuring, implementing various technologies such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Nexus, UCS, AAA and Data Center devices.
- Ensure a proper methodology during the diagnosis of problems, taking appropriate actions and handling the business priorities.
- Follow up on daily team activities and problems resolution with concerned teams
- Follow up with vendors all pending problems and escalate to higher levels if SLAs are not being followed or if the business is being affected as a result of problems.
- Schedule implementation plans for network projects and reallocate the needed resources as needed without affecting the daily operations or coverage needs.
- Ensure proper documentation and regular reporting of network performance and team activities to his Department management.
- Coordinate with other teams inside or outside Technology dept for daily operations or implementation of new tasks.
- Review and update operational procedures as needed and propose solutions to enhance the operational environment.
- Implement all S/W upgrades and corresponding fix releases delivered by supplier.
- Support technically network installation, and operations in LAN/WAN environment.
- Perform regular network modifications through work orders
- Perform daily ,weekly and monthly network healthy check
- Provide the basic support on 24/7 basis when needed for all Corporate DN equipment present in all DN Corporate sites and shops remotely and on site.
- Diagnose and correct faults in all Corporate Data network components using the available tools and resources.
- Participate in all Orange Projects carried over Data Network.
- Administer Corporate Data Network including (routers , switches , FWs, Load Balancers ,and any other DN component added to the network …).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Electronics & Communications or Computer Engineering Departments.
- Very good English spoken & written.
- Very good computer skills.
- Team player, result & customer oriented.
- Quick learner with an endless appetite for knowledge.
